|  | International Adoption Graphic Design Intern Position available Fall 2008. The International Adoption Services Graphic Design Intern will be provided the opportunity to learn and perform within an international adoption setting while offering needed assistance to the International Adoption Program. Duties and responsibilities include: working with CHSFS’ International Adoption Intake team; assisting with design & updates of brochures, flyers, posters and postcards (experience with Pagemaker, InDesign, Photoshop or other graphics/page layout programs and Microsoft Word helpful; become acquainted with adoption websites (specific training provided); assist with distribution of adoption materials; and special projects as needed. Qualifications desired: Competence in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office programs; experience with Powerpoint; willingness to take on projects, do research, learn new skills; good organizational and communication skills; willingness to learn and understand issues experienced by all members of the adoption triad; understanding and acceptance of children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds; ability to work as a team member, to act independently and accept responsibility and seek consultation as needed.
