Founded in 1889, Children’s Home Society & Family Services is a non-sectarian 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that meets the needs of children, individuals and families in our community and around the world through our vital programs and services. Each year we touch the lives of nearly 35,000 children and families through our programs and services.

Families living in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia can work with our subsidiary, Adoption Service Information Agency, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. ASIA was founded in 1981 and has been a subsidiary of CHSFS since 2005.
