Brief Job Description:

The Accounting Specialist, receives and processes all incoming money for the agency in a timely and accurate manner, and is responsible for the daily bank deposits, which includes copying of checks/deposits and maintaining deposit record files, coordinates and processes all finance related activities for the medical billing process including contacting insurance providers and/or clients regarding past due medical claims. 

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have an Accounting degree or equivalent experience in accounting and medical billing is required.  Experience with bank deposits preferred. Excellent computer skills and experience working with Great Plains or other accounting software and medical billing software; be detail oriented with excellent data entry and communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
