Purchasing a home for the first time can be a very exciting time in your life.  By following these 7 guidelines, you can feel prepared for whatever comes your way.
Seven Things to do When Buying a Home
1. Have a contingency plan- in case of emergency

2. Select a lender and get a pre-approved before beginning to look at homes.

3. Make sure that you understand all of the terms and information before signing a purchase agreement

4. Before purchasing a home- attend a Hombuyer Education Workshop

5. Before purchasing a home- get an inspection

6. Do not purchase a home at the highest approved loan amount- be knowledgeable about what you can afford for a mortgage payment within your personal budget

7. Buy the home that is right for you- do not buy a home to keep up with the Joneses
