Second Annual Adoption Celebration!

Join us for the second annual Children’s Home Adoption Celebration on March 10, 2012. This family-friendly event celebrates adoptive families and birth cultures from Minnesota and around the world. The event is open to the public and will feature cultural activities and entertainment, a fundraiser, ethnic food, merchandise and adoption-related resources from the following areas:

• China & Southeast Asia
• Ethiopia
• Korea
• Latin America
• Russia
• Eastern Europe & Central Asia
• Nepal & India
• Minnesota

Advance Tickets: Adults $12, Children $9 (Under 2~ free)

Day of Event Tickets: Adults $15, Children $10 (Under 2~ free)
 

Planning Committee:

If you would like to get involved in the planning of this event, we are looking for committee members to sit on the following region subcommittees:  India & Nepal, China & Southeast Asia and the United States. A committee member will assist with the following:

• plan interactive activities and decor for their assigned cultural space
• assist CHSFS in identifying merchandise and/or food vendors
• secure several culturally themed donations for the fundraising component  
• recommend entertainment performers that represents the cultural region 
• attend sub-committee meetings pre- and post-event. Meetings will be held at CHSFS from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

  • March 6 and 20
