Apply for an Adoption Support Grant
The Children's Home Adoption Support Fund makes grants up to $3,000 to qualified families to help defray part of the upfront cost of an adoption.
Grant Criteria:

Priority is given to applicants who are adopting relatives, children with known special needs, large sibling groups and/or school-age children.

Applicants are evaluated on financial criteria including need, commitment to funding the adoption, income (gross income of $75,000 or less, with a $7,500 per child in home deduction), expenses, assets and debts.

The grant award amount is determined on a case-by-case basis and can range from $70 to $3,000.
