Ethiopia Waiting Parents Potluck
The Owens family invites families currently waiting in the Ethiopia program to join them at their home in Fairfax County Virginia for a potluck! Please bring picnic-style food to share (feel free to bring Ethiopian food, too)!

ONGOING CLASSES
Pre-Adoption Education Classes
For families in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. All families who have submitted a Registration Form with the East Office can attend a Pre-Adoption Education Class. Attendance is required before you can move on to the home study phase of your adoption.

Time: All classes are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST
Place: CHSFS Silver Spring, Maryland office (8555 16th Street, Suite 600, Silver Spring, MD 20910)
Cost: $300 (Education Fee for CHSFS clients) Not a client of CHSFS? You may still attend this class, please inquire about cost.

Kids' Groups - Register Online here!
Adoption-focused groups for children ages 8-11 who joined their family through adoption. We’ll talk about diversity and culture, school issues, adoption and birth families. Open to all adoptive families, regardless of placing agency. Space is limited.
Cost: $120/child for 4 sessions (includes parent meetings); additional children $50 each.
