4th Annual Adoption Day Camp SAVE THE DATE! July 21 & 22, 2011
My Time, Too! On the fourth Tuesday of each month we offer an age-appropriate activity-based group for adopted children and their siblings, ages 5–7. Each month a different topic is discussed.
The Bubble Gum Group These groups are for youth ages 8-11 who joined their family through adoption. A corresponding group for parents is included.
Beyond The Bubble This group is for youth ages 12 and up, or youth who have completed two or more sessions of the Bubble Gum Group.
Adoptive Parents Group: Parenting Adult Adopted Persons Open to any parent of an adult who was adopted, regardless of placing agency. For more information, please call Maxine at 651-255-2235.
Adoptive Parents Group: Open Adoption Group For adoptive parents who are living an open adoption relationship.
Adoptive Parents Group: Parenting Adopted Teens For adoptive parents who are parenting a teen who was adopted, regardless of placing agency.
Waiting Families Group: CHSFS International Adoption Programs For families waiting to adopt a child through a CHSFS international adoption program.

MNADOPT offers groups and classes for individuals who adopt through the state of Minnesota. These classes are not part of CHSFS offerings, but they are a wonderful local resource.

Pre-Adoption Education Classes
For families in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. All families who have submitted a Registration Form with the East Office can attend a Pre-Adoption Education Class. Attendance is required before families may begin the adoption home study process.
