Home Stretch Home Buyer Workshop - This 1- day or  3-session workshop is ideal for first time home buyers, the workshop will help you find out if home ownership is right for you. This workshop satisfies most mortgage lenders’ education requirement for first time home buyers. Check with your lender.  

Upcoming dates:

  • Tuesdays. March 11th, 18th, 25th, 2008. 6-9 pm, Roseville. cost $20
  • Saturday. April 12th, 2008. 9am-5:30 pm, St. Paul, cost $35
  • Wednesdays.  May 14th, 21st, 28th, 2008.  White Bear Lake, cost $35

Individual Mortgage Counseling

After completing the workshop, call 651-646-6393 to schedule an appointment with one of our homebuyer educators.  An educator can:

  • Confidentially review your finances
  • Access and analyze your credit report
  • Assess whether you are currently eligible for a mortgage
  • Help determine what you can afford and which mortgage loan programs best fit your financial situation

If you can’t afford a home or qualify for a mortgage now, your educator will help you make a plan to get on the road toward home ownership.

Who is eligible?

These services are available to any person or family thinking about buying a home.  There is no minimum or maximum income limit.  Pre-registration is required for workshop attendees; please call 651-646-6393 to register. 

For the workshops, there is a one-time fee per household. Our one-on-one educational services are free to all.
