Friends For All Children

Donations support the work of Friends For All Children (FFAC), an organization dedicated to the welfare of Thai children. The director of FFAC takes pride in having never turned away any child, regardless of their physical or emotional needs. FFAC provides food, supplies, care and more for vulnerable children in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and other areas throughout Thailand.

Projects supported by CHSFS through FFAC include Home of the Swallow, a home for pregnant and parenting women, and Baan Dada Children's Home.

Baan Dada is a children’s home and community economic development center located on the Thailand-Myanmar border. It is in an area where many migrant workers and refugees moved due to poverty, disease and political unrest by the military government. Baan Dada is home to approximately 60 orphaned and disadvantaged children. In addition to providing a safe living environment, the main objective is to empower the children through education. They are taught many skills including music, sewing, motor bike repair, art, language and technical skills.

Baan Dada also provides jobs for single mothers, refugees and local families who help care for the children and assist with farming and construction. The children work together to help sustain the home by making and selling hand-drawn bookmarks, planting rubber trees and performing cultural dances and music.
