The Adoption Programs of Children’s Home and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota are hitting the road in March! Look for us at these upcoming adoption conferences. Stop by our booth to discover how we are advocating for children in need of permanent families, and learn about the expanded adoption program offerings available through our partnership.

CAFFA Conference – Chicago Area Families for Adoption

Saturday, March 9, 2013 | 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: Wheaton College, 500 E. College Av., Wheaton, IL

This conference offers workshops for pre-adoptive, foster, waiting, birth and experienced parents as well as adoption professionals. Sue Orban from Children’s Home will be presenting “Adoption 101,” and Kristina Berg will be hosting our information table.

28th Annual OURS Through Adoption Conference

Saturday, March 9, 2013 | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Location: St. Norbert College Campus, De Pere, WI

This year’s conference is titled “The Road To An Open Home.” Children’s Home adoption social worker Angie Checco de Souza will be presenting and hosting an information table.

$65/person for members & $85/person for non-members after March 1.

JCCA 19th Annual Conference: Adoption & The Family

Sunday, March 10, 2013
Location: The Conference Center, 130 E. 59^th Street, New York City, NY

Jewish Child Care Association’s Ametz Adoption Program conference will feature the keynote lecture “Search and Reunion,” plus 25 additional workshops covering everything you could want or need to know about adopting domestically, internationally or living as an adoptive family. Sue Orban will be participating in a panel and hosting an information table.

The Adoption Connection Conference

Friday, March 15, 6:30 – 9:00 pm & Saturday, March 16, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Southgate Church, 3717 S. Michigan St., South Bend, Indiana

An event to inspire and encourage families, professionals and community leaders connected with foster care, adoption and orphan ministry. Children’s Home staff Kristina Berg will present on Adoption Basics, Intercountry Adoption and host an information table.

Cost: $45/single, $65/couple, $95/family
