2011 Campaign Recap & Thank You

Children’s Home thanks you—our generous donors and sponsors—for making our annual Little Red Stocking campaign such a success! You helped raise more than $300,000 for Children’s Home during the 2011 campaign.

A special Challenge Fund proved instrumental in garnering new and renewed support. 2,000 individual contributors took advantage of the opportunity to have their donations matched dollar-for-dollar, allowing us to meet the goal set by the group of dedicated supporters who established the Challenge Fund.

The Impact of Your Gift

Your gift to the Little Red Stocking campaign has a real impact on children in need:

$2,500 funds a Children’s Home adoption support grant to help an older child, sibling group or a child with special needs join a nurturing family ready to open their hearts and home to a waiting child.

$1,000 enables siblings living in foster care to work one-on-one with Children’s Home staff to identify a safe and permanent adoptive family that will ensure they grow up together in the same home.

$500 buys crucial medical supplies so orphanage caregivers have the tools they need to provide the highest quality care for children who are waiting to be adopted.

$250 allows Children’s Home to create an in-depth profile of a waiting child—including detailed reports on medical concerns and developmental needs—to match the child with a family prepared to provide the care needed to live a full, healthy life.

$100 ensures that a parent who calls our Post-Adoption Helpline finds answers to tough adoption-related questions and the guidance needed to help a struggling child.
