Our Donation Policy & Wish List

As of November 2010, Children’s Home Society & Family Services can no longer accept donations of consumer goods. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are happy to help you locate an organization that can make good use of your generous gift. 

CHSFS does accept a small number of items noted on this web page. We update this list from time-to-time when items are requested by our program areas. 

Note: Due to changes in airport baggage policies we can no longer accept donations earmarked for a specific international country program.

For Children:
-Books- new board books through chapter books
-New Puzzles
-Diapers (all sizes)
-Baby formula
-New Infant Car Seat

Gift Cards:
-Gas stations
-Grocery stores
-Discount retailers (Target, Walmart, etc.)

Cozy Community:
-New blankets (may be homemade)
-New children’s hats and mittens (may be homemade) 

Fundraising Events:
-For donations to fundraising events (silent auction or raffle items, or in-kind services), please reach out to Amy Brendmoen at abrendmoen@chsfs.org.
