Maureen E. Warren – President and CEO
As Vice President of Housing and Community Development at Fannie Mae, Maureen Warren oversaw annual investments in affordable housing and community development projects in the upper Midwest. As Chief Administrative Officer for William Mitchell College of Law she was responsible for all administration operations and developed a $24M budget and managed a $21M endowment. Before joining Children’s Home Society & Family Services, she served as the Director of Housing and Employment Services for the Wilder Foundation. Maureen earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.A. at the College of Saint Catherine in Saint Paul. She has served on countless boards and committees, including the Family Housing Fund and the Public Health Law Center. Maureen is a policy wonk, a traveler, a map-collector and a storyteller. She lives in St. Paul, Minn., with her nine-year-old son, Samuel, who was born in Vinh Long, Vietnam. Maureen adopted Samuel in January 2002 with the support of CHSFS. Michael Morrow joined Children's Home in March of 2010 in the role of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Michael served most recently as Executive Vice President and CFO at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. Michael continues to participate in health policy forums at both the state and national level, including health care task forces sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Mayo Clinic, Minnesota Medical Association and the Minnesota Citizens League. Michael has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Carleton College.
