Community Forum on Children & Families
Join parents, community advocates and public officials for an event in celebration of National Family Week.

November 23, 2010 | 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Children's Home Society & Family Services

This event is FREE and open to the public, but space is limited.  Please RSVP to Kim Herman at 651.255.2329 or kherman@chsfs.org by November 9.  

CHSFS is excited to host public officials from all levels of government as well as clients and partners for a FREE and fun evening including: 

  • Heavy hors d'oeuvres
  • Reception to meet other community advocates, parents, and public officials
  • Free childcare
  • Round table conversations on topics like:

    International adoption | Early childhood education | Child abuse & neglect | Child welfare system & permanency | Mental health | Teen pregnancy

This event will bring together stakeholders to get to know each other and share ideas on topics of importance to families in our community. Round table discussions will be structured in the World Cafe style. Guests will have the opportunity to discuss multiple topics of interest in structured small-group conversations.

Schedule: 
5:30--Reception
6:15--Opening remarks
6:45--Round table discussions
8:00--Event concludes

  • FREE on-site childcare is available by CHSFS professionals. Register your child/children when you RSVP.
  • Bus passes are available to and from CHSFS. Request a voucher when you RSVP.
