Traditional International ProgramsThrough our traditional programs, we strive to place children who do not have an identified special need or have an identified need that may be routinely addressed in the U.S. with predictable approaches and successful outcomes. We are currently helping to find families for children who were born in: | Bulgaria* | Burundi* | China | Colombia | Costa Rica | | Quickly compare all programs |
Heritage ProgramsFor situations in which birth families cannot stay intact and children cannot have their needs met by birth relatives, we believe that children should first be placed with a family in their own country and culture. Our Heritage Programs are one way in which we advocate for that outcome.
Waiting International Children ProgramOur Waiting International Children (WIC) program was developed to help us find families for the children who tend to wait the longest for permanent families: older children, sibling groups, children with identified medical or developmental concerns, and children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Children placed through this program may come from any of the countries listed above. Countries tend to be more flexible in their requirements for children waiting in our WIC program.
