Prevent Child Abuse & Neglect

When the stress of parenting seems overwhelming, CHSFS can help. We work in partnership with parents in crisis situations to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to support and strengthen families.

Community support is also critical. Research shows that when parents have a place to turn to in challenging times, their children are more likely to get the care and attention they need.

Children’s Home Society & Family Services offers a continuum of confidential services, including in-home support visits, family care plans and parent-support networking programs.

CHSFS Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention programs operate in three Minnesota counties: Anoka, Chisago and Ramsey.  Eligibility may vary by county. For more information, call:
