We help promote safe, healthy family relationships. Through education, we can break the cycle of abuse.

Abuse is any systematic pattern of behaviors in a relationship that one uses to gain or maintain physical and psychological control over another. Domestic abuse adversely affects individuals, families, and society in general. Without treatment, children who are victims of or witnesses to domestic abuse are at significant risk for delinquency, substance abuse, school dropout, and difficulties in their own relationships.

Children's Home Society & Family Services offers professional services to stop the intergenerational cycle of abuse. We help families overcome challenges such as

  • Adult anger management
  • Child abuse and neglect prevention
  • Domestic conflict resolution
  • Financial difficulties, and
  • Learning disabilities

In addition, CHSFS offers Youth Support Services, including

  • Diversion and restitution
  • Strong Families

We strive to keep vulnerable children safe and bring hope and strength to families at risk.

For more information, contact CHSFS. Phone support is available 24-hours a day, for individuals and families living in Ramsey County facing stress, crises, or parenting challenges.
