Growing up presents many challenges for every child, and every parent. Children’s Home Society & Family Services is here to assist you. If your child is experiencing obstacles to success due to a learning disability, CHSFS Learning Disabilities Assistance can empower you to become an advocate, so your child receives the assistance he or she deserves. If you or a child you care for is struggling with school, social or behavioral problems, CHSFS Youth Support Services can help. If you are a parent in need of guidance or support, know that every parent does at some time. CHSFS Parent Support Services can help alleviate family stress and ease crises. If you are overwhelmed with debt, or just looking for ways to get a grip on your current spending plan, consider CHSFS Financial Education. Services are available at no cost to families in the following Minnesota counties: Anoka, Chisago and Ramsey. Eligibility may vary by county. If you are having issues with anger at work or outside your home, CHSFS Anger Management classes help participants learn how to identify and express anger appropriately and respectfully. If you are involved in an abusive relationship, suspect someone you know is, or want to learn more about how to break the cycle of violence, please seek assistance through one of our CHSFS Abuse Prevention programs. If you were adopted, or a member of your family was adopted, CHSFS Post-Adoption Services offers a host of events, workshops, webinars, classes and travel opportunities, designed to help adoptees and their families connect with personal history and culture. If you are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, we can help you sort through the alternatives, and find a solution that best fits your and your child’s needs. Our Pregnancy Counseling services are here to support you. Please contact a CHSFS pregnancy counselor. Support is available for individuals and families facing stress, crises, or parenting challenges. Contact CHSFS. |
