Waiting International Children seeks homes for older children, sibling groups, boys, children with issues of abuse and neglect, and children with medical conditions and special needs.

If you have the patience, caring and understanding to adopt one of these children into your family, you’ll find the lifelong experience richly and uniquely rewarding, as adoptive parents of Waiting Children will attest.

Children adopted through the Waiting International Children program may originate from any of the countries here we have active programs. Countries tend to be more flexible in their adoptive parent requirements for this program.

As the term implies, the children in this program are currently waiting for loving families to adopt them. We prefer not to keep them waiting any longer than necessary. The process for Waiting International Children is equally as thorough as any adoption. However, depending on where your family is in the adoption journey, process steps may vary, in each child’s best interest. A more detailed discussion of the process for adopting a waiting child may be found here.
